< Payment Types < One of my regular clients has a payment type of monthly invoiced but I want to change one of their invoices to have a different payment type, How do I do this?


If you have a client that normally pays for their services at the end of the month, but then orders some boarding services for the summer, you might want to invoice those services in advance of service rather than at the end of service. One option to acheive this is to change the payment type for that one service order which will subsequently change the calculation of due date.


Below you will find the screen that enables you to change the payment type for one service order.


To arrive at this screen:

  • First navigate to your client. 

  • Click ORDERS

  • Note that to change a payment type the service order must still be a quote (ie not yet invoiced).

  • Click on the required quote link

  • Click Edit Payment Type

  • Change the payment type from the drop down list

  • Click “Update due date” (if you want the due date to be recalculated in accordance with the new payment type).

  • Click “update payment type”.


Now you are able to invoice the service using the new payment type.
