To improve your communication with clients when there are schedule changes due to unforeseen circumstances, such as inclement weather, we recommend that you create and use a version of this email template.
How do I create an email template for Storm Days?
Navigate to ADMIN > SUPPORTING DATA > EMAIL TEMPLATES.
Click "Add New Email Template"
Enter the Name "Bulk Cancellation - Storm Day"
Click "Create Template"
Enter the Content as set out below in the screenshot, including all merge codes. If you wish you can change the wording slightly to reflect your business style.

We regret to inform you that due to storm Henry our business is closing today. You are receiving this email because you had a service scheduled with us that unfortunately we have had to cancel.
We will of course keep you updated of developments throughout the next several days. We would like to apologize for this inconvenience.

You are then able to use this template to notify only those clients who are scheduled on a specific day. Please see further instruction on Emailing Clients from the Schedule on Storm Days.
Your clients will then receive the email, which has been customized because of the merge codes within your email template.
