Using Merge Codes in Email Templates

Your Pet Sitter Plus system has been pre-loaded with some standard email templates, most of which contain one or more merge codes. To include a merge code in a template, simply copy it (including the brackets) and paste it (or type it directly into your template) at the place where you require the merged data to appear.


Merge codes can be embedded in any standard email template such that the data you require is extracted from your database and automatically inserted into your email template at the time you send your email.


Merge codes are very effective in facilitating the automation of bulk emailing (such as bulk invoicing) as well as for creating one off client correspondence.


Other ways you can use Merge Codes

Merge codes will also work (and are effective) when embedded in the standard narrative sections of Quote, Invoice and Account Summary documents
