This function is designed to prevent clients from canceling services online within a given number of “hours of the service start time” or “days of the service date”.
You can set these up in three places, 1. at company level, 2. “service item group” level and 3. “service item” level. For service item group click ADMIN > SERVICES > SERVICE ITEMS > SERVICE ITEM GROUPS. For example, you can set one rule for “walking” and another for “boarding”.
When setting these time constraints it is important to note that “Service Item” overrides “service item group” overrides “company”. So if you want to set this once for the entire company, you will need to remove any settings that you have at the "service item group" level or "service item" level.
Navigate to ADMIN > SETTINGS > click on Client Portal Settings from the sub menu
Scroll down to "Job Cancel Time Constraint"
Enter a number and then choose “hours or days”
When you choose “hours” the system will prevent jobs from being canceled online within a number of hours before the service start time.
When you choose “days” the system will prevent jobs from being canceled online within a number of days of the date of the service.
