Navigate to ADMIN > SETTINGS > Diary Settings > "Show Cancelled Jobs in the Staff / Client Schedules for"
When a client cancels their service at short notice, staff can sometimes become worried that one of their regular bookings has been missed off the schedule.
When this is the case, staff can benefit from seeing a cancelled job in their schedule (as opposed to the job simply disappearing off the schedule because it was cancelled).
This feature provides a way of showing cancelled jobs in the staff schedule when they have been cancelled at short notice.
To set the number of days you would like cancelled jobs to show on the schedule:
navigate to Admin > Settings > Diary Settings
in the drop-down list for "Show Cancelled Jobs in Staff/Client Schedule For", choose one of the available settings
Available settings are:
0 days (cancelled jobs are never shown)
1 – 5 days (cancelled jobs are shown in the client portal schedule and the staff jobs list when cancelled within x days of the service start date – where x can be from 1 to 5 days)
Always show cancelled jobs (cancelled jobs always show as cancelled)
With "Show Cancelled Jobs in Staff / Client Schedules" set to 5 days, a job cancelled up to 5 days before the service start date will show (as a cancelled service) in the staff jobs list (desktop/laptop view).
The same job cancelled up to 5 days before the service start date will show (as a cancelled service) in the staff jobs list (mobile view).
And the job cancelled up to 5 days before the service start date will show (as a cancelled service) in the client portal schedule.
