Sitters/walkers may have been granted permission to view and/or edit the client and pet details of the jobs that have been assigned to them. This is particularly useful for staff to be able to update the visit routine or feeding information, and also if there are any issues regarding the pets. They may also have need to add a new alarm code, or location of a key. NOTE: they also have access to all the client's contact information which can be an issue for some businesses.

The client and pet name has the following format:

  • Client Last Name plus

  • Pet Name (as described in the Diary Ref)

How does a Sitter View and/or Edit the Client's Details?

 

  • Click on the client/pet name to take you to the Client screen

The staff member can view and/or edit:

  • the client record and the pet(s) record(s)

  • their entire schedule for a time period no matter who the sitter is 

  • their order and invoice history

  • their repeat services

  • any job requests waiting to be scheduled

  • or they can email the client direct

 

If the staff member has been given permission to view BUT NOT edit, the "Update" button is missing.
